Description: Up for bid is a glass paperweight made in the shape of an apple by who I believe to be Philbin Studio Art Glass in 2000. The apple has a sommerso effect with amethyst as the primary color on top of clear glass. The apple stands about 4 5/8 inches to the top of the clear glass stem and is 3 inches at its widest point. It is signed on the bottom "Philbin 2000", but I am not an authority on signatures. (Please see photo). Overall, the piece is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. However, there are some minor abrasion marks on one side. This apple would make a great addition to your collection. Please understand that I try to describe each item, and any possible blemishes, to the best of my ability.
