He was awarded patent number 12393 for Ireland and Great Britain -which is stamped on the sterling band of these commemorative pipes. This is a bent Oom Paul in a smooth finish with a hallmarked sterling silver band. Comes in a special box containing a Duplicate Certificate from the 1800's issued by Peterson Pipe's of Dublin Ireland with a Real Stamp, of the Kapp and Peterson Co. with Peterson's signature.
