Description: This is a sweet little pitcher made by the Peters and Reed Pottery company. I will admit I have seen these pieces over the years but never knew who the maker was until I finally had the opportunity to purchase a piece. I just thought it was so very charming with its double spout, and the deep rich brown accented by what appears to me to be laurel leaf crowns. Such a pretty little piece, and so perfect for a book shelf, in a library or office, or perhaps with long matches in it sitting near a wood burning stove, or in a kitchen up on top of cabinets with a plant next to it. It really to me has an old English look, but was made here in the states as far as I could tell. This sweet little piece will fit in just about any place you choose to set it.
