Description: THIS IS A PHOTOCOPY of a DISNEY 1955 ANIMATION PROMOTIONAL ART of PETER PAN RIDE with the PIRATES SHIP for DISNEYLAND Publicity This is a 1980s era Research PHOTOCOPY and NOT ORIGINAL DRAWINGS In the 1953 animated Disney film Peter Pan, Tinker Bell is represented by a small flashing white light. In the 1954 musical adaptation, Tinker Bell is only represented by a tiny flashing white light, and her "dialogue" is heard as tinkling music played by a celesta in the orchestra. Tinker Bell was designed and animated by one of Walt Disney's Nine Old Men, Marc Davis. There is a myth that the original animated version of Tinker Bell was modelled after Marilyn Monroe. However, Disney animator Marc Davis's primary reference was Margaret Kerry. He illustrated Tinker Bell as an attractive, blonde blue-eyed young white female, with an exaggerated hourglass figure. Tinker Bell has been a regular figure in Disney logos. As an unofficial company mascot, she is known as a symbol of Disney Magic. This job elevated her to the point that it can be easy to forget her origins as a Neverland fairy who lived with Peter and the lost boys. Tinker Bell is a Disney character who has become a symbol of "the magic of Disney". She first appeared in the 1954 logo for Walt Disney's Disneyland, sprinkling pixie dust over Walt Disney's name. She has also been featured in television commercials and show opening credits, where she sprinkles pixie dust to shower a magical feeling over other Disney personalities THE full page is 11 X 8 1/2 Item in VERY VINTAGE CONDITION - Edge discoloration as seen in pics Please see photos Multiple FLAT PURCHASES PAY ONLY ONE MAILING FEE.
