Paris Doll Company 27" Rita Walker Doll Hard Plastic Vintage 1951

Description: Offering a vintage Rita walker doll, made by the Paris Doll Company circa 1951. Rita stands 27" in height and is made of hard plastic. She is showing signs of use and age. She is missing brush eyelashes on her right eye. Her front teeth are missing and her felt tongue is showing wear. Her head is somewhat loose and could be restrung to tighten it. Her arms will hold an upward pose. She comes as shown wearing a pink and white gingham dress (pinned on at the back), a white eyelet pinafore and white eyelet bonnet. The outfit is not original to the doll and the dress is a bit big on her. However, she does come wearing her original blue shoes. Her legs will make a walking motion when manually pumped, but her head no longer turns as the legs move. There are discolorations at the sides and back of her neck which appears to be old glue residue from her wig and a few random scratches on her body. Her blue open and close sleep eyes are clear and open and close normally. She wears her original blonde wig which is matted in areas. There are two small hair pins, one on each side of her face. Rita is odor free. Any cleaning is being left to customer.
