Pair of Vintage Chinese Porcelain Water Birds

Description: Finding one of these stunning birds is rare, but two is virtually impossible.I found one other that is for sale on eBay at $39.99, the provenance and origin is hard to be certain of due to the rarity of them. It is believed that they are Chinese, but could equally be Japanese. Either way they are clearly hand made and vintage, the detail in each bird varies due to the finishing processes used in the making of the birds, crackle glaze, speckling, glazing gives each of them a unique finish.They stand at just over 9" tall, they are just beautiful and will grace any home with a wildlife theme or of course an Oriental theme.
