Description: Pair of Handwritten Diaries, Kanawha County, West Virginia, 1927 to 1935, Tons of Entries. These are pretty neat, definitely written by an unknown woman, possibly a member of the Leech family. Both ledgers are fairly full, the smaller one has every page filled, lots of entries about work, visitors, canning veggies, etc. Mentions East Bank (East Bank is a town in Kanawha County, West Virginia along the Kanawha River. East Bank was incorporated in 1889 by special charter enacted by theWest Virginia Legislature. It is so named on account of the town's location on the east side of the Kanawha River) among other places. Condition is pretty good, top corner of cover clipped on larger diary, insides are very readable. Buyer to pay shipping, good luck!
