Description: Here are two (2) brand-new NOS/NIB never used and fully tested of Western Electric 417A tubes. One tube has a production date code of 6413 (the 13th week of 1964); the other tube has a production date code of 6939 (the 39th week of 1969). The lettering on each tube is pristine. Here are the test results when tested in my calibrated TV-7/U tube tester. Note that the minimum acceptable reading (when tested with the TV-7/U tester) for the 417A is 15, so you can see that these tubes test way above the minimum value, as you would expect for new and unused tubes: Tube No. 1: 48 Tube No. 2: 41 As you can see, both tubes are matched very closely electrically. As you would also expect from new-in-box and unused tubes, the tube pins on both tubes are clean, and free of any oxidation. There are no rattles or loose particles within either of the tubes. The silver getters are bright and shiny. The tube boxes are in excellent condition, considering that they are now over 55 years old. I have no capability for testing these tubes for microphonics. You are purchasing one pair of these tubes for one price. As with all electronic equipment of this vintage, these tubes are sold as-is and with no warranty.
