Description: Pairs of date-matched GE 6AS7GA power triode vacuum tubes. Tubes have black semi-shiny plates, top halo getters, and green markings.The green markings are somewhat smudged from rubbing on the inside of the boxes but most are legible. Tubes are packed in plain white boxes with adhesive labels. All tubes have the same date codes, 85-42 and 86-04. If I understand correctly the earlier date is the date of manufacture, the later is the date of printing and packaging.The dual date codes, white boxes and labeling suggest to me that these were made for military use but I am not certain of this. I tested them with my TV-10 tube tester, test results ranged from 3100 to 4500, the minimum is 1800. I used the test results to sort a total 0f 16 tubes into 8 pairs that are the most similar. The triodes within each tube matched well. If a quad is ordered I will try to pick pairs that are similar. Sale is for one pair.
