Description: Elegant antique French hallmarked .800 (nearly sterling) silver 2pc open or master salt set with matching spoons, original blown glass inserts, ornate floral & foliate decoration and all kept in the original storage and/or presentation box! A pair yes and what a lovely pair! Actually, separated out, this is a six piece set :) with box making seven. All bear the post-1838 French Minerve or Minerva hallmarks, the tiny number "2" within those marks means they're in .800 or better silver (at least 80% pure so just under the .925 standard for "sterling" silver). The silversmith marks on all are for Pierre Bezon, Paris circa 1913. A lovely all original set, don't miss them. Very good condition. A tiny dimple or two to the silver salts possible and some age tarnish visible in spots but both glass inserts are original and in great shape, as is the box. There is tarnish on one salt visible in the pictures, apparently we didn't get it polished completely but will do so before sending out. See pictures for all measurements.
