Description: This P Lowentraut Mfg. 4" Inside Firm Joint Caliper, with "P.L." inside a Horizontal Diamond Logo is in very good condition. Besides a previous owner's initials, there are no other markings on this caliper. We researched the diamond logo at Alloy Artifacts and it matches the P Lowentraut Mfg. logo exactly. We estimate this caliper to have been manufactured sometime between 1905 and the early1920's when the company closed. It has some pitting on the lower parts of the 2 legs.
