Description: This neat, black and pinkish, 20-Paras, Ottoman Empire postal stationery card(pretty clean; w/ some creases here and there, little pieces of papers attached to its back, and a few, small tears and a thin in its right side(from the back)) was sent from the Ottoman Post Office in Smyrna, Turkey, to Geneva, Switzerland, on March 3, 1882! It arrived in Geneva on what appears to be March 10, 1882, and received a neat, mobile, Swiss Post Office cancel! There is also another, mysterious auxiliary mark(an "S," or crescent moons?) that seems to be from an Ottoman Post Office. The sender seems to have been on some kind of journey/vacation in Africa and Asia. The addressee was with a manufacturer of orthopedic equipment! Noted imperfections aside, this remains a nifty postal stationery card sent through the Ottoman Post Office in Smyrna, Turkey, to Geneva, Switzerland, in 1882!
