This engine rotates smoothly & has strong compession. This later style model reads MADE IN JAPAN on the Left Lower Front Area of the Block unlike the earlier 1949 models. This engine has a serial number 29185 stamped on the Right Front lower block area. This later Twin Stack version or model has a Pad specifically designed for the serial number stamp. The later model engine blocks had 2-Cooling Fins or Rings cast into the block just below the exhaust manifolds. The Twin Exhaust Stacks on this engine are shorter & exit or protrude closer out from the cylinder head than the early models or versions which are longer or further out. This Is set up to accept the optional Red fuel tank if you can locate one for it. This is a very nice choice of a low play time model engine & is a very clean example for the vintage control line airplane modeler or for the engine collector / enthusiast.
