Description: ORONTES (1902.1926) Built by Fairfield Shipbuilding Co., Glasgow, for the Orient Line, British flag. She was a 9,028 GT ship with dimensions of 513'x58'. Twin-screw, 18 knots, quadruple expansion engines two masts and one funnel. Her service routes were England-Australia via Suez. She had passenger accommodations for 320 first and 320 third class.
