Ornate Wall Sconce Brass Mirrored Flower Art Deco Style LARGE Hollywood Regency

Description: I do have another one of these to make a pair but it is currently not listed as I have to construct a box and don’t have heavy box at this time. (I put the sconce in a box, then I box the box) If you are interested in a pair, message me first more details) Wow That’s what I said when I found this wall sconce. I call this style Art Deco but some say Hollywood Regency or French, too. I picture them in Versailles… This is a large piece measuring in at 20” long. My interpretation of this wall sconce is this: The entire piece is a flower. The mirror is cut into a floral shape. Each petal of the flower is cut for emphasis. A glass flower is attached with a brass center to the glass for a 3D accent. The mirror then tapers to form a floral stem. At the base of the stem are brass leaves on each side. The flower then sits atop a brass holder…which scoops out on each side with an 8 petal brass floral budded candle holder. If that isn’t enough, each brass scoop is adorned with 2 additional 3 dimensional cut glass flowers with brass centers as they serve as a figurative stem for the flower buds which hold the candles. The mirror has gold flaked pattern or swirls all throughout. I don’t know the age of this piece. The mirror shows minimum wear in spots but it’s barely noticeable as the mirror is patterned with gold. Please examine the photos carefully. I take a lot of photos to help you make a decision.
