ITEM: Original WWI Snapshot Photo of FRENCH & AMERICANS with CAPTURED GERMAN ARTILLERY GUN MOUNT fed by railroad tracks for supply of ammo, France, 1918. Some period photo postcards call similar gun mounts as for "Big Bertha", but Bug Bertha was a road-mobile 42cm gun, not a stationary siege gun. Photo is from an AEF soldier named Arthur Gwynne who was apparently in an Aero Squadron. His commanding officer was a Colonel Baldwin, but I do not know anything more about him. SORRY.
