Original Vintage Painting For A Family Book or Magazine Illustration

Description: This is a wonderful, vintage illustration of very cute children painted around 1960. Notice the great facial expressions, brightly painted clothing and overall colorful brilliance of the blue and yellows (after 60 years) in this painting. It was painted in gouache on illustration board (21"x15") for a book or magazine. The image measures 15" x 9 1/2". There is a minor crease to the board in the top center as can be seen in photo. This is one of over 20 paintings I purchased from a collection of illustrations, several of which were signed by famous illustrators Walter Langhammer and Roger Hall. While this particular artwork is not signed it clearly is done by an extremely accomplished illustrator as demonstrated by the quality of this piece.
