Original Vintage BSAA 'Starliner Routes' to SOUTH AMERICA Map Travel POSTER

Description: ORIGINAL c1940s BSAA STARLINER ROUTES TRAVEL POSTERThis is a wonderful original. I recently acquired a collection of original travel posters and will be offering them all this week. Some truly rare posters and even some one of a kind original maquettes for posters. A wonderful chance to pick up some rare examples for a fraction of what they are offered for in high end poster stores. This example I am not even able to find another example. I would say it dates to around the late 1940s or so. A large poster measuring 40 x 24 inches. A very clean example. As you can see there are wrinkles to the upper right quadrant. I think they could be easily smoothed out as there are not any really deep creases. There are repaired tears to the top margin that extend down into the title. They are repaired with archival tape. There are a few other unrepaired edge tears and a few small other chips and handling creases but really a very good example of this scarce original map poster.
