It is mounted and matted on museum rag board, signed and dated, with John's photographer's stamp on the reverse. Image size is 10" x 10," matted size is 16" x 20" tall. The image is titled "White Birch Hillside, Letchworth State Park, New York." This image is featured as plate number 39 in Sexton's award-winning book from 1994, "Listen to the Trees." John Sexton is a contemporary master of large format black and white photography, best known for his luminous images of nature. Very early in his career, John was an assistant to Ansel Adams. His images can be found in numerous museums and private collections around the world. His prints are notoriously difficult to obtain and the wait time for a print may span years.
