Description: This Bye Lo doll was a “Promotional Doll” which manufacturers sent to major retail outlets. This doll was in the front display window of Macy’s in New York City! I have a letter from the son of the original owner telling the dolls story. I am the second owner. The doll is all original with the addition of crocheted booties. This is the original dress which you rarely see. I added the Bye Lo pin. Excellent condition for the age. The dress has some small holes due to the gauze material originally used and age. The crier no longer works. This Grace Putnam Bye Lo is only for a true collector.
