Description: I am selling some "Kashmir Oriental carpets" for my friends' parents. They are down-sizing and no longer have a need for them. I am not a rug expert, but I do have some details: They were purchased, in India, for over $500 USD (a piece) over 25 years ago. The owners are originally from India and have made many trips there over the years, bringing back many high-end antiques and home decor. Additionally, they would never buy anything "cheap", so I am certain that these rugs are on the "higher end". They are definitely hand knotted. I believe they are made out of silk (very soft to the touch), but based on my research, could possibly be a silk/wool blend (I don't know the difference and want to be transparent about this in case I am incorrect). They all measure approximately 4' x 6' ( see pics with tape measure for more accurate measurement ) They have all been "used", but are in good condition. The pictures in the listing are of the EXACT item for sale. NOTE: There is a very light stain on one section of the fringe (see last pic for details).
