Description: Vintage Japanese CAST IRON FUROGAMA HIBACHI This lovely Furogama Hibachi Kettle has been hand-made with Cast Iron. Furogama are made traditionally by pouring molten iron into a sand or clay mould. Hibachi are used in traditional Tea ceremony rituals. This Hibachi features open designed sides with metal ring handles and Maker's Mark on the base. All pieces including the lid are iron except for the very inner small container which is plastic. Measures 20cm tall x approx.19cm in diameter. No cracks. Some minor surface rust. In very good, clean condition.
