Description: For sale is an Omega 131.019, a pure dress watch with an uncommon dial. Typically, as dress watches, these references come with applied indices and white or cream dial colors. This one has cursive arabic numbers with a yellow dial, which makes for a "funky" combination on a dress watch. Powered by the cal. 601, probably the best line of manual wind calibers Omega has ever done. Extremely reliable and accurate, they've withstood the test of time since the 1960s. Comes with a brand new strap sized at 120/73mm. It should fit wrists of up to 19.5cm (7.6") circumference. It has a couple of small marks near the center, and a bigger mark between the center and 3 o'clock that's visible when the light hits it right. It's more noticeable on the third photo under non uniform light. Printing is sharp and hands are clean. Crystal is an original Omega with the logo imprinted in the center. It has a few scratches on the outer perimeter. I tried my best to polish it with polywatch, but it definitely needs attention from a professional. Gold plated case has scratches from normal use. The edges of the lugs and the middle part of the bezel show some wear on the plating. It looks a lot more extreme in the close up photos than in hand. Crown is a generic replacement. On the back side there is a little damage from years of people trying to pry the back case open. The back case has some light scratches and marks from use. I believe the watch has undergone some polishing. The movement looks and performs great. I received it serviced by the previous owner. It's only losing a few seconds per day with a strong amplitude, which is impressive for a 55 years old watch. Time setting is smooth.
