The item is made of wood with yellow brass metal mounts. The top portion has a domed hinged lid (see photos). The item is not marked by the maker (see photos). The box has a lock in it, but I do not have a key (the box is open). The item is vintage. The item is from an estate liquidation. This box measures in total about 2 and 3/8ths inches high, it is about 3.75 inches from the front edge to the back side, and it is about 12 inches from wide side to side. The box is nicely made (see photos). The item has some splits in the wood and some wear (see photos and / or written description for the condition of this item). A nice brass metal mounted wooden box to add to your collection.
