Description: Here is an old, black & white photo of an African American mother with her three children. They are posing outside with trees and a fence in the background. There is also a tall pole with what looks like a birdhouse on the top of it. The mother is holding a toddler who is wearing a white dress. The other two children are older, the little girl, standing in front of her mother has a shy smile on her face, she is wearing a light color dress with a white short sleeve shirt underneath it. She is holding her brother's hand who is standing next to her in dark pants and lighter colored shirt. The mother has a hat on and is looking a bit tired but is looking directly at the photographer. Unfortunately, there is nothing written on the photo identifying the family or any dates or place. The other photos that came with this one were from the 1920s, so I am guessing this one was also taken in that time period. the only thing on the back of the photo is the number 12 written there. It measures 4 1/4 by 2 3/4 inches. The photo is in good condition but has a small tear in the border on the one side that goes into the edge of the photo. A nice old photo.
