It is a single action reel that does not have a disc drag, which is rare for large arbors, and the tension is adjusted by turning the knob in the center of the spool. The same tension is applied in both forward and reverse rotations, making a light ratchet sound. When used with right-handed reeling, the ratchet sound is slightly louder when reversing. When used with forward rotation, the sound is very quiet. The body is very thick and has a high rigidity, and seems to be more sturdy than Abel's new TR. The spool is also sturdy, and the design does not interfere with the body even if the spool edge is dented. I think it is a reliable reel that will not lose its function even if you drop it while fishing. The size is about 80 mm in outer diameter and 35 mm in width. It weighs about 130 grams. It comes with an outer box, instruction manual, and a replacement rubber ring for fixing the spool. It has not been used for actual fishing.
