Description: This is an original GM passenger's side exhaust manifold for a Big Block Chevy engine. The casting number is 3916178. The 3916178 exhaust manifold was used on 1967-1970 Chevrolet Fullsize(Impala), Chevelle, El Camino, Monte Carlo, Camaro, Nova, and GMC Sprint models with 396, 402, 427, and 454 engine in every horsepower variety with or without California SMOG equipment. This particular manifold is not setup to accept SMOG lines. The casting date is D 11 9 which decodes as April 11th, 1969. This manifold will likely also for other years and models. Please confirm your specific application. This is a very hard to find OEM GM exhaust manifold. This exhaust manifold is in unrestored original condition as shown. The finish is very nice bare cast iron with no pitting or damage. The casting number and date code are ichrisp and clear as shown. I see no modifications or repairs to this manifold. The pipe studs have been removed as shown. 2 of the pipe stud threads are a bit weak and still hold a bolt/stud as they should. This manifold is quite hard to find since most were swapped for headers early on or damaged over the last 50 years. Don't miss this nice original example..
