Description: MEASURES:Height: 6,7 inch ; Diameter: 2,56 inch .CONDITIONS:Perfect in every way. Item description:Wonderful blue blown glass vase, therefore with the addition of cobalt oxides, masterfully worked with pincers to create two cylindrical bodies, one at the base and one at the mouth, with a central circular disc, made by the great Finnish artist and designer Kaj Franck, signed and dated below the base: "K Franch Nuutajarvi Notsjo 69" so it is a vase from 1969.Information on artist and/or manufacturer:Notsjö (Finnish: Nuutajärvi) is a manor house and glass factory in the municipality of Urdiala in the southwestern Tavastland region of Finland. The glassworks is the oldest in Finland still in operation. Founded and started in 1793 by Captain Jakob Wilhelm de Pont and Harald Furuhielm. Gunnel Nyman and Kaj Franck stand out among the many designers who have collaborated with the manufacture. Kaj Gabriel Franck was a famous ceramist and master glassmaker, a leading figure in Finnish design. Kaj Franck was a teacher and mentor for several generations of professional designers in Finland from 1940 to 1980 and had a major influence on the development of Finnish design and the arts. His great contribution is that he raised the artistic quality of simple everyday objects and in 1972 he received the title of professor. In the last photos we have put historical notions on the artist and on the manufacture with which he collaborated for many years.Useful information for the evaluation of the object: We also have put the photos of many of his auction results or glasses offered on 1stDibs at very high prices, all to give an idea of the value of the glasses made by this great designer. The peculiarity of this vase is that it is very close to the famous design glass bottles made by the artist, considered among the most important objects of his production. Note how these bottles are very similar in workmanship, with a central body that narrows in the center, all sold at auction at very high prices, as much as €12,000 for the larger pairs, €7,900 for a single bottle, and over €4,000 for a another small glass bottle.Final thoughts on the subject:Obviously, this vase being smaller and less worked is worth less than the bottles in the photo, but the artistic workmanship is certainly very similar and we are talking about a vase of great value, made by a world-renowned artist listed at auction. ENTER OUR EBAY SHOPPORCELAINS, CERAMICS, TERRACOTTE, BRONZE, PAINTINGS, FURNITURE, GLASS AND MUCH MORE AS, FOR EXAMPLE: .OUR COMMERCIAL POLICYAware of operating in the eBay market, our prices are often lower than the real value of the object, as often documented in our descriptions, and also lower than the prices at which very similar objects are offered on other online art sales platforms and antiques. At the same time, eBay reciprocates with the possibility of selling a high quantity of objects, so our commercial policy is to earn little for the single object, but sell a lot and therefore earn on the quantity. In fact, the asking price is always as low as possible, considering how much the item was paid for and the eBay commissions (for the sale, payment and any currency exchange: from a minimum of 15% to a maximum of 21% , according to the country in which the advertisement was made). For each object there may be multiple advertisements in different countries: USA, Italy, France, United Kingdom, etc. Any price differences are due only to changes in the exchange rate of the various currencies between when we made the advertisement and when you see it. REMEMBER TO PUT ME IN THE FOLLOWING SELLERS LISTFor any additional information or clarification we are at your complete disposal, so contact us via message here on eBay. SHIPPING WORLDWIDE - RETURN ALWAYS ACCEPTEDThe cost of packaging is also calculated in the shipping cost, and everything has increased by 19% because both ebay and paypal also take fees on the shipping cost. OUR SHIPMENTS:.Our shipments cost a little more than the average, but they are all shipments with professional packaging. Double box with a lot of bubble wrap around the object and a lot of soft material in the large cavities on all sides between the two boxes. This means that the package is much larger and heavier and therefore the cost of shipping increases, not to mention all the work necessary to carry out a similar packaging and the cost of the various materials used.
