However do not use metal polish or baking soda on the gold leaf inside. Also since 100% tin is soft do not rub it with a hard scrubbing brush etc. as this may scratch the surface. Do not place it near fire as it has a low melting point. Since it is made of metal it cannot be used in a microwave. Do not use a dishwasher or dryer as it may become hot. Do not put it in the freezer as the low temperature may cause the tin to deteriorate. Also please refrain from storing it in the refrigerator for long periods of time. Also do not leave highly acidic or dark-colored foods in it for long periods of time. This may cause discoloration.
