NOS! Rare 3-Monitor Geiger Counter Victoreen CD V-777 Radiation Detection Set

Description: You’ve seen plenty of two-monitor CD-777-1 sets, but you rarely come across the much more rare three-monitor sets! This set is New Old Stock and has been protectively stored for decades just as you see it here. The focal point of this package are the following three radiological monitors: a Victoreen OCD Item No. CD-715, Model No. 1A; a Victoreen OCDM Item No. CD V-720, Model No. 3A; and an Anton OCDM Item No. CD-700, Model 6. In addition, there’s also a Radiological Dosimeter Charger, I.E.H. Model 750-5b, OCDM Item No. CD V-750, Model No. 5b, along with two Bendix CD V-742 radiological dosimeters. As you can see from the photos, there are also all of the original accessories including carry straps, headphones, instructional manuals for each of the meters, other assorted original instructional brochures and miscellaneous original paperwork, and even the original detached batteries in a separate storage bag. Somewhat shockingly, the original Ray-O-Vac D-cell batteries visually appear to be in very good condition; however, they’ve been tested and, as one would expect, they no longer carry a charge. The cherry on top has to be the very cool, original Civil Defense Fallout Monitor Station sticker! All in all, this is a more rare set than you typically find, yet I’ve priced it at only a small amount above what some of those common two-monitor sets have sold for. This set will be shipped in its original box, which will be safely and securely packaged inside an additional, outer box for increased protection of the contents. Please check all photos to help you assess the condition before bidding. Please note that the original box does have a vertical rip in the cardboard on one side, but no other damage significant enough worth mentioning. All items contents appear to be devoid of any normal use, showing only evidence of light handling (most likely for calibration and/or inventory-verification purposes). I normally allow returns, but due to the museum-quality condition of these items, I do not feel it would be a good idea to have them bounced around in multiple shipping trips; therefore I have made the difficult decision to encourage the buyer to consider them as being sold as is without a return option to minimize the chance of shipping wear, so please be sure of your decision to buy beforehand.
