We have the standard Dave Taylor head Steady kit, (without the spring adjustment) also listed. This replaces that chunk of metal at the top of your Commando head which attaches to rubber mounts on the frame top tube. The same rubber mounts that are used to mount the mufflers. This kit is a little bit more precise, robust and beautiful than the stock Commando factory set up. If you are really in the mood to impress an audience, you will have to remove the gas tank. Regardless, it will make riding your Commando all that more pleasurable. Ridding with a cracked top engine mount or dry rotted rubbers can really screw up your ride. The Taylor kit is an off shoot from the production racer Commando, with the later Mark III spring adjustment assembly. All CNC machined alloy with steel adjustments, it is a very nice piece of Norton jewelry.
