Description: This Kodak brand real photo postcard (RPPC) shows an old railroad station in North Foxborough, Massachusetts. Train tracks can be seen along the bottom edge of the postcard image. A friendly expert and acquaintance at TylerCityStation.com pointed out to me that this postcard features a photo taken in 1914 by Lewis H. Benton of Taunton, Massachusetts. Benton started taking area photographs (often featured on postcards) in 1910 and continued this pursuit into the mid-1930's. The postcard listed here does not show the early 20th-century caption that was on Benton's original postcard: "Railroad Station at North Foxboro". As explained to me, sometimes the original inscriptions were cut off for aesthetic reasons in later postcard editions. I suspect that this reprint on Kodak paper is from the 1950's or 1960's. After the years the postcard may show some typical wear. In the effort to keep our costs down, I tend to trust our postal service and it works out great "99.9%" of the time. Moreover, in my experience "ephemera enthusiasts" are a great community of people who are collaborative and don't take advantage of each other; therefore, I typically do not feel the need to drive up your costs so that I can later prove successful delivery-- I trust you. However, if you want to purchase certified mail services (includes tracking), then please send me a message so that we can make arrangements.I collect, trade, and sell ephemera because it's interesting and fun. If I'm selling something that you'd like to own but you perceive that my asking price is just too high for your taste or budget, then please offer me "a deal I can't refuse." I like it best when everybody gets what they want. Thanks for considering this keepsake.
