This glove is for the Right handed thrower as the glove fits on the Left hand ! This particular glove is in excellent condition ! The leather is very very good and nothing is dry ! This glove feels absolutely wonderful on the hand and it is broken in perfectly ! This is absolutely one of the sweetest mitts you will ever put on your hand ! The glove also has a great pocket as you can clearly see in the photos ! So once the ball enters the pocket of this glove it is not going to pop out ! Now I am sure that this glove would work for baseball also, but I think it was designed for softball because it is so large ! Checkout the 4th and the 5th photo how the glove just wraps itself around a baseball and the 6th photo how the glove looks in the closed position without a ball in the pocket and the 8th and the 9th photos show how the glove wraps itself around a full size 12 inch round softball and the 10th photo show’s how the glove can cradle 2 full sized 12 inch round softballs at one time ! As far as fitting goes, this glove is somewhat of a tight but very comfortable fit on my average adult size hand ! So it’s not a loose fit mitt ! The inner lining is in excellent condition and the glove is an extremely comfortable to the hand and the fingers all the way up through the finger stalls ! So it’s not a tight fit but it’s not too loose ! It’s just right ! The only flaw with this glove would be that the original owner wrote their name HAWK to the right of the white label ! You can see this in the photos ! Other than that there is no ink or marker anywhere on the glove ! You will not be disappointed with this glove ! The glove is just too large to fit in a flat rate priority legal envelope so it has to be shipped by regular priority !
