Description: This is a unused EF Johnson model 242-7640 UHF mobile radio. This was purchased as a spare radio for a fleet but never used. This radio might have a problem or just need to be reprogramed. When powered up with no microphone connected or with a mike that is off the hook the radio goes into transmit mode. With the mike connected and in the hook it is not transmitting. It was programed so it will need to be reprogramed for you're use. This comes with the DC power cord, mounting bracket, hardware, mike holder and operation manual in the original box. The microphone is missing.
