Description: NEW YORK CITY - Navarre Hotel, Main Dining Room - 1911: The Navarre Hotel, now named the Millennium Towers North, is a 43 storey Art Deco building located at 508-518 7th Avenue (West 38th Street) in the Garment Center of Manhattan. It was constructed between 1928 and 1930 by the architectural Firm of Sugarman and Berger. When called the Navarre, it had a main dining room. The correspondence informs its recipient in Lynne, Massachusetts: "I am having a very nice time in N.Y. I came with the girls from the Overbrook School who are attending the convention of Blind workers. I am well and hope you are. Love to all. Clara V. Haines."
