Description: Listing includes one bright pink colored "Whirly Birdy," wind spinner with an orange throat! It is an original pattern and handcrafted by an 80-year-old craftsman who likes to keep busy! It is new, and ready to be mounted. The hand-painting is folk art, and may include imperfections due to the handmade nature of the product, thus adding more charm and individuality. The breeze makes the bird's wings spin around (in the same direction, but opposite if facing the opposite direction), making the little bird look as though it is flying for all it is worth. The "Birdy" measures 8 " from beak to tail, and the whirly wings each measure 6.75" long. Wings are lubricated with a Teflon lubricant so they spin easily. It is also sprayed with a water-resistant, clear coating for out-of-door weather protection. (Not water proof, however, so it should be brought in during wet or winter weather) Set also includes a mounting stick and three mounting screws. (May be mounted to wood, or wired to a solo metal pole or fence). Wonderful entertainment, and could probably work as a small "scarecrow" in a garden! Please ask questions before purchasing.
