Description: This was purchased at an industrial auction, so I have no experience using it. Since the software and documentation are missing, I am selling it as-is "for parts or not working." However, the hardware included shows little sign of any use. The model number QIR200 is my BEST GUESS, based on internet searches. The bar code on the box matches those on the remotes and the IR receiver: qi2s3209020029. It appears that this hardware is discontinued, so this would be great buy for someone looking to expand an existing system. I hope to sell this to someone who is more knowledgeable than I am about this system! Everything is wrapped in the original plastic packaging, but the bags are resealable, so there is no guaranty that they are untouched. In fact, someone had put batteries in the teacher remote and the #31 student remote. Those batteries where good and had an expiration date of 2025, so there is no corrosion on the terminals. I tested those two remotes to see that the LED illuminates when the buttons are pressed (LED turns green for a few seconds, then flashes red twice) and the laser pointer on the teacher unit works (see photos.) Then I removed the batteries, to ensure no corrosion. I believe that the remainder of the 32 student remotes have never been opened, and I can tell by the weight that they do not contain batteries. I plugged the IR Receiver unit into my laptop via the included USB2.0 cable. The green LP3 LED lit and the laptop chimed. This occurred for each of the three RJ45 ports on the receiver. The case is in nice shape. It has an operational zipper lock, with the combination set to 000. Thanks for looking!
