As you can see, it has a vintage brown reissue type tolex exterior with a super plush interior, brass / gold colored hardware and a very nice padded leather type handle with leather type end caps. This is a very high quality case that was made for Gibson by the TKL case company in Canada. TKL makes some of the best cases in the world, most notably the Gibson Custom Shop Lifton ReIssue cases. This case comes with some of the ThunderBird Bass guitars and you'll rarely see a factory ThunderBird case for sale without the Bass, especially a brand new one like this. The case was made specifically for a right hand 4 or 5 string Gibson Thunder Bird / FireBird type electric bass guitar but it will also work with a right handed Epiphone ThunderBird Bass. The body cutout and pads are shaped for a Reverse Shaped ThunderBird Bass so any of those right hand bass guitars will fit perfect. If you have a ThunderBird type RH Bass Guitar, you really need a good quality hard shell case like this to protect your investment and maintain the maximum value of your guitar.
