Utilizing a hybrid kydex and nylon design, you get all the rigidity you would expect from a kydex pouch AND the lack of noise you want from a nylon pouch. These pouches feature the Esstac Kydex Wedge Insert (KYWI) that provide the needed retention to secure your magazines without the need for bungee cord for rapid mag changes. The Shorty KYWI is the lowest height of the three Esstac offerings: Shorty at 3.5", midlength at 4.5", and tall at 5.5" height). This pouch is designed for STANAG magazines, and does not fit AK magazines. The Shorty exposes the maximum amount of magazine possible, allowing for easy an quick reloads. Each pouch comes with two MALICE clips for attachment to gear. Pouches in Black, Multicam Black, and Ranger Green come with Black MALICE clips, while Coyote Brown and Multicam pouches come with Coyote Brown MALICE clips. FEATURES Intended for standard AR15/M4 magazines. Works with metal GI magazines, Magpul P-Mags, and others. There are 3 rows of webbing on the back of the pouch.
