Description: This darling Dana doll marks the end of the Journey Girls franchise...unless Just Play decides to surprise us! This line of popular, and ever so lovely, Lotus play dolls was originally pedaled by Toy 'R' Us; after the toy store closed in 2018 production ceased. But thereafter Just Play picked up the line, and the dolls were briefly re-released, primarily via Amazon, but also at Macy's (ie once it resurrected Toys 'R' Us in 2022), and some dolls were available at Kohl's too. No new dolls have been released since then, and availability has rapidly dwindled and seems to be limited to stock on hand. Dana is the beautiful animal lover of the bunch, and she is the only doll spotting glasses! This particular Dana is one of the last ones made, by Just Play in 2019. It is easy enough to differentiate the final dolls of the line, as they are packaged in the brown shipping box with the pretty purple and white printing, designed with a gift theme. The Dana in the attached photos is the actual doll that you will receive; her box has remained sealed prior to the photos and was only opened to check her over and share her with you! In addition to the outfit that Dana is wearing, she also has a purse, sealed in the plastic bag, secured behind Dana's right arm. The purse is a coordinating purple draw string bucket bag; I've included some stock photos within my listing so you can see what Dana and her purse will look like once they are removed from her box!
