Description: I have started building compact low cost dummy loads aimed at the ham radio community. They are rated 100 watts continuous and up to 250 watts intermittent duty, (1 minute on for every 5 minutes off). I use the Agilent M/W ceramic terminator resistor and they are rated to 1GHz at 250W. The measured SWR is under 1.2 throughout it's range. If you have ever thought of building a small dummy load but never got around to it, I have done it for you.
