This work was released in 1986. ELO, who were thought to have already disbanded, released their 11th album in about three years. The band members for this sudden release are Jeff, Bev Bevan, and Richard Dandy, and the recording took place back at their old home, Music Land Studios in Munich. The previous album, Secret Message, had a strong Jeff Lynne solo project-like hue and fell into a difficult direction, but here it is again an exquisite combination of fantastic pop and electronics. It is full of pop sensations that are reminiscent of the masterpiece Discovery. After releasing this album, Jeff Lynne began producing and worked with people like George Harrison, Brian Wilson, and Randy Newman, which led to the formation of the Traveling Wilburys.
