Made from ABS by additive manufacturing process. ABS will not dissolve with standard lubricants or become soft in a hot garage or workshop. EVERY gear has been bored and broached. Not only are these high quality materials but they've been finish machined properly for the right fit. NO SLOP! A factory factory 9-73A Change Gear Sleeve is trial fit in each gear after broaching. Gear designed with offset on one surface (factory gears are narrower, offset from both hub ends) to allow use in and around compound gears (compound gears overlap other gears). Back side is not offset keeping full tooth width and placing the edge or foot created by manufacturing on glass surface out past the edge of your factory gears. I have run plastic parts including my ABS gears and change gear bushings for over 4 years making big cuts.
