Description: You are looking at a Hand made Native American Peace pipe you will receive the exact pipe and stem shown in the photos. It is brand new, fully functional, never been used or blessed. Would work well for a personal prayer peace pipe or make a fine addition to any collection. This is a “elbow” style pipe. Traditionally used by a woman, or young single male. The stone was quarried from the sacred quarries at the Pipestone National Monument located near by. It is authentic Pipestone quarried by hand. The bowl itself measures 2 inches long and stands 2 inches tall. Each pipe is very unique. Please be sure to view the photos for the finer details. The stem alone measures 6 inches long. I left this stem plain so the buyer may decorate to personalize how ever they see fit. The exterior is burned to high light the natural beauty of the wood grain. The stem is sealed tight to the bowl when connected with no air leaks. I have photos of the pipe and stem joined together to show you it is drilled straight. This stem is made from pine, cut into two pieces a hole ripped in the middle and then glued back together. The total length of the pipe bowl and stem when connected is 8 inches long. The pipe is signed “Loud Thunder” as that is my given Indian name. I am a 5th generation Pipe maker, a lineal descendant of the Sisseton-Wahpeton Tribe Al though not enrolled myself. I’m happy to send any additional photos or answer any questions. I do have several listings at this time and will also take personal orders done through eBay. The state of Minnesota will assess a sales tax at check out. This is out of my control and I do not profit from this. Thanks for looking!
