New! 2hp Honda Four Stroke Outboard Motor - Never Used, Sold boat, not needed

Description: This is a brand-new Honda 2 HP Four-stoke tiller steer outboard motor that was bought for a boat, never used or installed, and the boat was recently sold. Motor has been in storage since new. No external fuel tank, it has a self contained internal gas tank that holds one quart of fuel. Since this is a four-stroke, no mixed gas is necessary since oil is in engine. Uses unleaded or recreational fuel (preferable). This is the long shaft version of this motor. This engine does not have a shifter, since one is not needed. It utilizes a centrifugal clutch. By increasing the throttle, the increased engine rpm’s engages the clutch which makes the prop turn. (think of a go cart) At idle speed, the prop does not turn. Also, to use reverse, you simply spin the engine around 180 degrees and the flip the tiller handle over to the opposite side. Now you can go in reverse. Since this engine is new and never started, we thought it might be best to put gas (for the first time) into tank and start the engine. We put the engine into a tub of water and started it right up. We have included a video of this engine running and operating as best as possible in a tub of water. Video shows engine running and prop turning as best as possibly within a tub. Once bought, we will drain the oil and gas out of engine to insure safe shipping. We will also build a crate to ship.
