Description: This is a listing for one Nepenthes veitchii ['K' x ('Candy Stripe' x 'Candy')] SG. This is a Wistuba clone of plants produced by Christian Klein. Both parents are heavily striped. N. veitchii produce attractive flared peristomes when they are mature. I expect this plant to grow more similarly to the striped Bario forms. This plant grows fairly well in intermediate conditions. This individual has a nice neon green peristome with a bit of squatness. The peristome that keeps its stripes as it ages. I have grown these for 26 months. Humidity should be kept at 50% or higher with decent airflow. You are expected to have some experience with growing Nepenthes before you purchase. It's not a hard plant to grow, but its not easy either. The plant shown in the pictures is the exact one you will receive. The cup noodle is for scale. The plant is growing in a 2.5 inch pot in a 50/50 mix of sphagnum moss and perlite. The leaf span is 7 inches from tip to tip. The largest pitcher is 3 inches tall. The image is the exact specimen of what you will receive. Care instructions will be provided with packing. These plants are pest-free and have been growing in my grow tent. My conditions are: 85F days, 70F nights in the summer and 83F days, 63F nights in the winter. Humidity is 65-85%. I keep these under 6500K lights.
