Description: Substitute needles for 12x1 needles which are no longer made. 10 needles in size 80/12 (also have these in size 90, see other listing) Thin round shank needles are just slightly thicker than a true 12x1 needle. They fit MOST but not all transverse shuttle machines, Singer 12 and 13 and many German. See second photo for comparison, left needle is a 12x1, the center needle is this substitute and the needle on the right is a 15x1 with a flat shank. Comes with a flyer showing how to set a needle on a machine with no needle stop, very helpful.
