Description: This 7.5" mat or trivet or plaque is made of birch bark and decorated with a quilled leaf. edged with rows of sweetgrass coils, sewn down and then made into a curvy border. See condition notes. It's probably pre 1960. It was part of my late husband's collection. I don't know if it is from Canada or northern US.
