Description: Extremely rare National RQ-82 portable 8-track player.In pretty great condition for it's age.Very clean and works perfectly.Minor signs of age.Missing battery cover and battery function has not been tested, however contacts are very clean and really no reason why unit would not work off battery power.Takes 8 D-cells!All the pots were cleaned,as well as the head.Minor signs of age,but thus unit us a rare treasure that I could find absolutely no info on.Very early unit that does not automatically change programs.Made only to switch manually.All lights work.Made in Japan,and I feel was released in Japan only.Sound is clear and goes quite loud.
