I purchased it SECOND HAND in 2007 and was told it was never ran or displayed. NO PROMISE ON THAT. I personally never ran it on a layout. I do not have a layout. However I have had it displayed on my custom-made Train shelves until recently. This car looks like the real thing. KNOWN CONCERNS: NONE that I can see or am aware of. Even the box with this one is near perfect. PLEASE LOOK AT PHOTOS to verify you are happy with the condition. I took photos of many angles to allow you the chance to see the entire car before you buy it. Last photos show after I put in back into the original box and that is how you will receive it. I see no major flaws, but I am older now and might miss something. I need to let some of my items go in an effort to downsize. It breaks my heart to let it go, but I hope someone else can get enjoyment from it also.
